Poetic Obituaries: [Gan Teik Chee] had served as committee member

and treasurer for the International Movement for a Just World.

Aliran president P. Ramakrishnan said he was shocked to learn about Gan's death.

    Shocked, saddened and disbelieving
    how it can be
    Fond memories of our young experiences together
    will always remain
    Regret that we lost touch over the years
    and have not been there for each other
    for so many long years
