Poetic Obituaries: When his family moved, Mr. [Walter] Smith

lost track of his friend [King Brooks] but never stopping thinking about him. As an adult, Mr. Smith, who liked to write stories and poetry, wanted to reconnect.

At the urging of a friend, he wrote down the story of their friendship. He decided he would publish it, but first wanted someone to read it. He randomly chose a FedEx employee walking down the street; his name was Jarrell Brooks. Brooks was the grand-nephew of King Brooks.
