for her love of music and poetry. She was a graduate of the Cosmopolitan College of Music in Chicago, played violin and piano and taught vocal music. She was supervisor of the Walworth County, Wisconsin Music program for 20 years and taught music at Bruno and Pyatt schools. She was the choir director of the Yellville Methodist Church for many years. Julia enjoyed writing poetry and songs and included her original poems with birthday and anniversary cards for family and friends.
