News at Eleven: Back in the 1960s, Yevgeny Yevtushenko

packed out stadiums across Russia, gathering thousands of people who came simply to listen to him reading his poetry. Now, at the age of 74, he plans to do it again. He has booked Moscow's Olimpiisky Stadium--with a capacity of 17,000--for a single date in December, when he will read his work and take part in a staging of a rock opera based on his poems.
