Poetic Obituaries: [Pavlo Zahrebelny] always showed an eager interest

in young authors. In the 1960s, when he was the editor in chief of the newspaper Literaturna hazeta (eventually renamed Literaturna Uk­rai­na), he actively supported young prose writers, poets, and journalists who would later become known as the shistdesiatnyky. In fact, he was the first to publish poems by Vinhranovsky, Drach, and Oliinyk. He also supported Vasyl Symonenko and Lina Kostenko.
