Poetic Obituaries: In the 1990s, using the more informal "Hank,"

[Henry] Menahem joined the community theater scene, taking roles on stage, as a character actor, and behind the scenes.

He co-wrote--with George Eckhardt providing the music--"A House For All Time," which was mounted at the Fort Hancock Theatre on Sandy Hook in 1994. It recounts the experiences of a New York couple who moved into an inherited long-abandoned Victorian home on the Jersey beachfront, and begin the process of rehabilitating the house and their fractured family.

Using songs, and Menahem's poetry and dialogue, he took on the part of the "House Spirit," a ghost that helps the couple and their two children.
