Poetic Obituaries: During the French war, he [Huu Loan] joined the People's Army

and after 1954, he worked at the Literature and Art newspaper. After retirement, he returned to his hometown.

Huu Loan is known for a poem titled "Deo Ca" and especially "Mau Tim Hoa Sim". The latter work was written in 1949 after his first wife died.
