(FIDH) expresses deep concern over the sentencing of Qatari poet Mohamad Ibn al-Deeb Al-Ajami to life imprisonment following a trial marred by irregularities. Al-Ajami, sentenced on 29 November 2012, has been granted leave to appeal.
