Great Regulars: Chilean poet Gabriela Mistral,

the first Latin American to win a Nobel Prize, died 50 years ago this week. Following news that her executor Doris Dana passed away in November, commemorations of Mistral’s death have been marred by controversy surrounding the distribution of funds from the sale of her works.
