"How I Got Rid of Some of My Books": "There was a major earthquake in Turkey in 1998 and my library got a crack in it. I have 16,000 books and I was worried that if there was a new earthquake they would fall on me, so I went through my books and pulled out those I don't like, those by writers who don't like me, and other nasty authors who don't matter anymore."
