Antonio Batista's poem Parked Cars and Potholes in the City of Mississauga was one of the verses that led to his being convicted of threatening death against Mississauga city councillor Pat Saito. Yesterday the Ontario Court of Appeal heard arguments on whether Mr. Batista should have been offered the protection of freedom of speech.
