will live on in "Poetry of Probably Rare Beauty," a book that contains a chapter written by an alter ego, Ned, who was a Nebraska farm boy. Mrs. Christensen said her late husband published two books, and two more will be published soon.
He also wrote a syndicated column for the San Francisco Examiner for 14 years and was a political-speech ghost writer for one president and two senators. He was an Associated Press reporter and the editor of a Nevada City, Calif., newspaper.
