Dear Poetry Buffs,

Helen Vendler leads us off in News at Eleven this week. I have been looking through my e-mail and cannot find who sent the link to me. Thank you, though.

Also this week, we welcome three Great Regulars: James Fenton and Jay Parini, both of whom we find in the book pages of the Guardian, and the Yemen Times has a new series called "Literary Corner" that we will be watching.

This month, we members of the InterBoard Poetry Community are excited to welcome Pascale Petit as judge for our next three months of contests. My sincere thanks to her for taking a seat on our judge's bench.

This means that our good friend, with such a great flair for reading and writing (and now we know for judging too), David Kirby, has finished his three month stint, as he noted in the recent results: IBPC Judge's Comments. My sincere thanks go out to him as well. By the way, he is one of our Great Regulars, and has an article for us in New York Newsday.
