Great Regulars: More than 1600 poems were submitted

to the 2007 Wigtown Poetry competition. Judge Jackie Kay said "It is the job of poetry to take the cliché and breathe new life into it" --which the winning entry, by London poet Kathryn Simmonds, certainly does.
