Poetic Obituaries: In the early nineties,

Tom Peyer and Hart Seely collected some of Rizzuto's best moments, formatted them as poetry, and published "O Holy Cow! The Selected Verse of Phil Rizzuto." The book was a parody of poetry, but it also was poetry, even earning a New York Times review by Robert Pinsky. "O Holy Cow!" is still in print. You should buy it if you don't already have it. Meanwhile, here's one of my favorites:
