often returned to was her father, "Fearless" Frank Finnigan, an original Ottawa Senator, who died in 1991 but not before witnessing much of his daughter's tremendous output of 31 volumes of poetry, folklore, short stories, children's stories, plays, scripts and regional histories. Her last book, the poetry collection Looking for a Turnout, was published this year.
