Christmas Bell Ringer, and was its editor for many years. She also wrote a column about Christmas that ran in the Orlando Sentinel.A poet and artist, she painted the baptistery at the Fort Christmas Baptist Church and has even been credited with helping bring electricity and dial telephones to Christmas.
