and the poems move back and forth, unwilling to level judgments.In "Drink v Drugs", the speaker, worse the wear for alcohol and "worked up about some other matter", apprehends a stoned kid who seems to be smashing up a phone box. The youth dares the concerned narrator to ring the police, before doing it himself and saying he's been assaulted by a drunk man.
