Renaissance Man as he was a superb artist producing watercolor paintings and pen and pencil drawings, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he was a stellar writer, penning poems and short stories. He had two business books that were published by Human Resources Development Press and several books and articles published by The American Association of Vocational Educational Materials and The National Center for Research in Vocational Education.He also wrote articles and book reviews for a number of Training trade journals. David was in the process of working with a literary agent in California to publish several of his fiction novels that he recently wrote.

Bailout 2008, a poem by David Jeffrey
Like a bloodied warrior,
laying broken and torn.
Like a dying soldier, hopeless and forlorn.
But the blood, it be green,
the color of money.
And the soldier is an economy,
and it is anything but funny.
Broken are it's people and shattered are their dreams.
Thanks to the ultra rich and their full proof schemes.
It is a tragedy with more pain to come.
Finance will be Hell, and their wills will be done.
