Poetic Obituaries: Victoria [Fitzsimmons] took nourishment

through a tube, breathed through a tracheotomy hole, used a wheelchair, was unable to speak, had limited use of her arms, and communicated through an improvised sign language.

This did not stop her from composing poetry, bringing awareness to those with special needs, and working to help other "sick children."

from The Herald News: Mom: Daughter was 'awesome gift'

Hi Mary,
I was saddened to see that Victoria had moved on. I remember seeing in you face how very much you loved her. I tried to google you and then decided to google Victoria and found this obituary. I would love to reconnect with you. If you woul like to send me a message on facebook. I'm listed as Daphne Fugate Labern.
Love and Blessings,
Daphne
