Great Regulars: It was Bhanubhakta Acharya who created

a literary revolution by using the day to day language of the people for writing his immortal poetry. He became a people's poet by popularising the written form of the Khas language. He achieved this revolutionary effect through his translation of the Valmiki Ramayan into the Nepali language. Thus he made the exploits, the glory and the grandeur of Lord Rama accessible to the common people of Nepal. His translation of the Ramayan was so lyrical that the common people started viewing it as a song rather than as a poem.

What is most exciting to note about Bhanubhakta's literary evolution into a creative genius is that he did not study Western literature at all.
