during his school days by writing Urdu Ghazals and poetries, he shifted to writing humour and satire in 1944 and after the breakthrough at Meezan and Payam, he acquired the top slot in the field very soon.During this tenure he wrote hundreds of satiric essays, mini-essays and short stories that were compiled in over thirty books.
