Notified Area Committee Banihal for more then 20 years and served as social activist and a great poet of the area. He disassociated from the politics some 25 years back concentrate his profession as PWD contractor. He was well known of more then five languages and writes in Urdu, Kashmiri, Gujjari and Phari languages.
