from the ceiling," Emily Dickinson wrote in one of her poems. But not in the front parlor of the Homestead, her house in Amherst, Mass., which is now part of the Emily Dickinson Museum. Part of the ceiling there collapsed on Sunday afternoon while the house was open for tours.
