to write books and become a well-known writer of social history. She was a close friend of many writers notably Rodney Legg, Nicola Thorne, and Elizabeth Lawrence. She was a thoughtful, creative, innovative, gifted teacher, writer, painter, musician, and poet. She loved to travel and to explore other times and cultures.
