in our annual Planetary Poetry Month this past April, she elected to provide "In Other Words" with a few glittering 'graphs clarifying the swift currents and even sweeter undercurrents of "the illegal swimmer" by gloriously gifted Montréaler Artie Gold (b. 1947), a pure poet who left us bereft far too soon on Valentine's Day 2007. (Caution: Gold's hand-written note will make hash of your heart at what Henry Miller keeningly designated "the edge of the miraculous.")
