Poetic Obituaries: [Leo] Ferrari published over 35 works

on the fifth-century bishop-philosopher St. Augustine, as well as two books of poetry.

In later life, he developed Alzheimer's disease and wrote a book about it with his wife, Lorna Drew, called Different Minds: Living with Alzheimer Disease.

"By sharing experiences of our uninvited encounter with Dr. Alzheimer's disease, we can break through the barriers of silence and loneliness" he said in an introduction to the book posted on the Alzheimer Society website.
