Yes, it should be there. My attitude toward the work changed enormously over the years. At the time, I hated it. When, I would say, in my late 30s and early 40s, I realized that this world I thought was going to stop me from writing a--writing a decent body of poetry had in fact become central to my writing poetry.
And I began to feel that I was really, in some ways, very fortunate, especially meeting the people that I met.
