a fresh beginning, blowing away the dusty cobwebs of the mind to reveal light, clarity, and truth? In this sonnet, [Jones] Very describes a moment of inspiration--an indwelling of the spirit. His ordinary doubts and fears are replaced by a vision of eternity.

It all starts with the usual rhythm of his thoughts suddenly changing. Once they moved with "slow and uncertain steps." Now they race in "thronging haste." But to where?
