Great Regulars: Limericks depend on wordplay;

they can be incredibly intelligent as well as stupid. They bash us over the head with their strong rhyme and rhythm. So of course we love them like we love rock 'n' roll and oom-pah bands in the park.

There was a young lady named Bright,
Whose speed was far faster than light;
She set out one day
In a relative way,
And returned on the previous night.
