Poetic Obituaries: The Iraqi Poet and Journalist, Mohammed Darwish,

born in northeast Iraq's Khanaquin Township in 1959, had worked in the Iraqi press, as editor in al-Mada Newspaper and then moved to work as Editorial Director and Editor in Tariq al-Shaab Newspaper, organ of the Iraqi Communist Party, since the early 1990s.

He had authored two poem collections, under headline: "Worry of Rest" and "Al-Aqasi (The Utmost)."
