are Hyder, Antembara Ganda, Taskara, Shapa, Matash Raja, Mother Courage and Dr. Bethune. Vanaprastha was the last play that was staged.

Prof. Halemane also wrote poetry. He wrote songs for the plays Kusumabale and Devanuru Kathegalu by Devanuru Mahadeva.
