author, poet, and most recently movie-star subject, died yesterday in Seattle. He had been visiting friends.I had the genuine honor of profiling Art three years ago. He was a smart, funny, sharp, sweet, ornery man. Every time I spoke to him, he seemed to have had some crazy new adventure.
