For the last eight years, [Tenzin] Tsundue has been wearing a red band around his head as a pledge to his commitment to the Tibetan freedom struggle. "All we have is identity," he says with a quiet ferocity. While he believes that his brand of activism is essential for the Tibetan movement, Tsundue is encouraged by young Tibetans wearing their heritage on their sleeve, singing more Tibetan songs, being actively involved in theatre, arts, academics.
