the deep rather philosophical, urgings that have prompted her questions in the quatrains. The hardest thing for her to do is conquer grief. Conquering love is hard, but conquering grief takes even more effort. Even after the conquest of love and grief, she discovers that "grief indeed is love and grief beside."
