and artist who recently moved to the island from the Yukon, according to Emily Farrell, a friend who knew him since Grade 2 at Whitehorse's Hidden Valley Elementary School.
"He was well-known in the Yukon and B.C. as a talented and committed musician, having contributed to many high-profile public performances as well as casual workshops and jams with fellow musicians," Farrell wrote in an email from Toronto.
"His skill as a lyricist will be remembered by those lucky enough to know of his music--his poetry was grand and gorgeous. [. . .]"
