Claire [O. Smith] was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. He would strike up a conversation with anyone and shared his love for the Lord with many through is beautiful poems. He was an avid gardener, reader, hunter, fisherman and poet. He was a man whom always blessed the food his wife prepared and always thanked her and complimented her after he finished the meal she so graciously prepared for him.
