which lives here at the university. The North American is the longest-lived literary magazine in the US, established originally in 1815. And so in about 4 years or so, less than 4 years actually, it will enter its 3rd century. It's pretty amazing to think that something is that old in the US. It was established just a few years after Lewis and Clark went in their expedition. The NAR has been around so long that Thomas Jefferson was one of our subscribers after he was President.
