Poetic Obituaries: [Phyllis] Gotlieb's career in science-fiction

stretched decades. Her first novel, Sunburst, was published in 1964. She would go on to write a number of other novels and poetry, publishing her last work in 2002. Gotlieb was dubbed the "mother of Canadian Science Fiction," by some.
