Lorenz Hart might be all we need to know about this odd little (maybe 5-foot tall) man who was Richard Rodgers' original partner in the heyday of the Broadway and Hollywood musical in the 1920s and '30s.
More telling however, is the sad truth that once Rodgers shed himself of Hart and teamed up with Oscar Hammerstein, he wrote the music for Oklahoma.
