from the Willamette River to the Portland Aerial Tram to a trip across the Columbia on Amtrak. A poem by Sharon Wood Wortman accompanies each trip, and illustrations by Ed Wortman are found throughout the book. The "main span" of 41 poems follows the bridge tours and features poets singing the praises of the Broadway Bridge, the Steel, the Hawthorne and other bridges near and far.
