Poetic Obituaries: However, [Jordan] Dean [Sr.] eventually discovered

his love of poetry was so great that he began writing about a number of other subjects. During the past nine years, Dean penned 125 poems.

Although Dean died Aug. 31 at age 97, the public will have an opportunity to permanently view three of his poems at the Larry W. Abernathy Waterfront Park.
