Poetic Obituaries: Elizabeth [E. Huppler] was always interested

in the out-of-doors, went on her first birdwatching trip in 1954 and has never stopped wanting to see more birds. She and John traveled to 70 different countries, not only to see the birds, but to become immersed in the life of each country and its peoples. The flowers, trees, geology and culture of each country fascinated her. Together with her husband, she gave slide shows of their travels to many organizations. Other hobbies were gardening, cooking, camping, fishing, reading, playing bridge and writing poetry and letters
