she had lot of interest in literature. In addition to authoring hundreds of songs for children and a few anthologies, she had published collections of poems titled Jokali, Gurustudi and Havyakada Hanigo. She was adept at making handicrafts and home preparations. She was an active member of Vittal Havyaka Mahia Parishat. She used to spread the Havyaka ways of living through her poems.
