chief among them trains and railroading, both real and as "HO" and "O" scale models; stamp collecting, chess, Civil War history and poetry. He enjoyed cooking, traveling, watching sport--golf, football, hockey and baseball--and in later years, he enjoyed attending regular get-togethers with his fellow retirees from Local 52.
