Poetic Obituaries: Charlene [Mae Carey] designed and built a popcorn wagon

where she and Sofie would sell popcorn. Eventually, the popcorn wagon was sold to the Piggly-Wiggly chain. Charlene later relocated to a home next to a creek in Wautoma, where she loved to sit next to the window penning witty poems, doing crosswords, and feeding the animals.
