Dear Poetry Aficionados,
IBPC: Poetry & Poets in Rags
We begin in the Robert Lowell Seminar Room, where he had Anne Sexton, Sylvia Plath, and George Starbuck as pupils. We then go to The Enchanted Garden, which was described by Edgar Allan Poe when it did not exist. These are our first items in News at Eleven this week. In our Great Regulars section, Robert Pinsky, who teaches in the aforementioned Room 222, has a terrific article on Ben Jonson. But that section is opened, in alphabetical order by name, with Bryan Appleyard's look at how we may be becoming too left-brained. These are among the dozens of items in the poetry news, hand picked for you.
Thanks for clicking in.
Yours,
Rus
