spent his time using his hands for yet another hobby: writing.
"He was always writing short stories and poems," Diane said. "He kept a journal that he would write in every day."
He began to write a book with his nephew, Dan Storm of Stewartville, Minn., titled "The Red Dragon Inn." The two would take turns writing chapters and mailing them across the country until the unpublished story was completed.
The two started to write a second book, which was never finished because Dan said Storm's handwriting was getting too shaky to read.
