Poetic Obituaries: [Rashid] Rashidov's first publication

appeared in 1945 in the local newspaper. In subsequent years, the Republican and the central publishing houses published more than seventy books of the poet. Much of his poetry was devoted to children.

Thanks to Rashidov's translations Darghin readers got acquainted with the works of local and foreign classics--Pushkin, Lermontov, Mayakovsky and Shakespeare.
