Poetic Obituaries: [Robert G. Fisher] was an avid birdwatcher

and lover of nature. He was an accomplished poet and storyteller, publishing two chapbooks of his work. He was a defender of the underserved and champion of just causes. Through his public service, he led campaigns to acquire a wildlife sanctuary, build a city hall, prevent his city from losing 38% of its land and to erect a homeless shelter.
